About these terms

This website is run by Forest City Allies, an independent business referral group in London, Ontario. By using forestcityallies.ca, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The member directory

Member profiles describe each member’s own business, in their own words. They are provided for information only. Forest City Allies does not verify, endorse or guarantee any member, their qualifications, or the products and services they offer. Any work you arrange with a member is between you and that member.

Please don’t copy the directory to send unsolicited marketing to members.

Meetings and membership

Meeting times, venues and membership details on this site can change. Please confirm before you attend. Visiting a meeting or submitting an application does not guarantee membership; the group decides on applications together, and each business category has one seat.

Member accounts

If you are a member with access to the member portal, you agree to:

• Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.
• Provide profile content that is accurate, lawful and about your own business.
• Upload only photos and logos you own or have permission to use, and that you are comfortable having published.

By submitting profile content, you allow Forest City Allies to publish it on this website and to edit it for length, format or accuracy, for as long as you are a member. You keep ownership of your content. We may decline, remove or change content that breaks these terms, and we may suspend portal access when membership ends or if an account is misused.

Using our content

The Forest City Allies name, logo, text and design of this site belong to the group, and member content belongs to each member. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use needs permission.

Links to other websites

Member profiles link to members’ own websites and social media. We don’t control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Limits of our responsibility

This website is provided as is, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Forest City Allies and its members are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, the directory, or any referral or business dealing made through the group.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
